At the heart of this opportunity is the New Women's and Children's Hospital (New WCH) Project. The New WCH will be a leading clinical facility dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of babies, children, young people, women and their families, as well as broader South Australian community.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsibilities in this role encompass the provision of comprehensive project support, including research, analysis, and reporting, as well as facilitating meetings, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and interpreting policy and legislation. 
  • Providing project support including coordination, research, analysis, , preparation of briefings and correspondence and reporting on the progress of projects and other activities/tasks. 
  • Providing meeting support including meeting set-up and pack down, developing agendas, accurately recording and distributing minutes, maintaining actions lists and decision registers.   
  • Developing and maintaining effective networks, partnerships and relationships with internal and external stakeholders including departmental clients and government agencies. 
  • Analysing, interpreting and implementing policy, legislation, portfolio and program initiatives.



Qualifications and Experience:


  • A Bachelors Degree in Business, Law, Finance, Commerce, or a relevant field obtained in the last three years. 
  • Experience working in a team environment to achieve successful outcomes. 
  • Strong customer service skills, characterised by identifying customer needs and providing quality, timely services. 
  • The ability to manage multiple project priorities and make decisions about time allocation while maintaining customer satisfaction. 
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to contribute to workable solutions. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including drafting business communication, complying with relevant probity requirements, and building rapport with colleagues and stakeholders. 
  • The capacity to influence stakeholders through clear and succinct communication. 
  • A willingness to embrace technology and continuously learn new skills. 
  • Undergo and provide a clear National Police Check.
  • Willingness to provide immunisation records (due to healthcare environment) a minimum of 2 COVID-19 vaccinations are required.
  • Provide clear and current Working with Children Check.
