As a DHSA Technology Support Graduate, your role will be instrumental in providing crucial support for technology and infrastructure services and projects. This entry-level position emphasises hands-on experience and skill development within the technology and infrastructure unit. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • The Technology Support Officer is responsible for providing high quality, responsive and efficient support for EMR and Digital Health delivery. This involves coordinating and undertaking the auditing, commissioning, maintenance and de-commissioning of all computers and related equipment related to EMR project and support of technology deployment and assistance for Digital Health initiatives.
  • Supporting Digital Health initiatives by providing delivery and technical support of end user devices, infrastructure, applications, and cyber security.
  • Provide technical maintenance and support.
  • Contribute to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of the EMR Project and Digital Health.
  • Engage appropriate behaviours which reflect a commitment to the EMR and Digital Health.
  • Contribute to the generation of ideas for the improvement and review of work practices.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • A Bachelors Degree in ICT, Engineering, Science, Business Information, Data Science, or an appropriate Degree level qualification obtained in the past three years. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both in oral and written forms, that enable appropriate liaison with a broad range of people within and outside SA Health, including service providers and contractors.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • A desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work under limited direction, effectively managing high volumes of work. 
  • A passion for technology and improving healthcare services in South Australia. 
  • Possess high level organisational skills including the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Provision of excellent customer service and the ability to maintain a high standard of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Provision of technical support of computer hardware, software, peripherals, mobile devices as well emerging technologies in large, complex and dynamic organisations.
  • Undergo and provide a clear National Police Check. 
  • Willingness to provide immunisation records (due to healthcare environment) a minimum of 2 COVID-19 vaccinations are required.
  • Provide a clear and current Working with Children Check.
